We have a party at Grand Star Jazz Club every Friday. We also like light up dance floors, free band badges, and the best indie, new wave, post punk, electro pop, britpop, twee tunes.
Since 2001, Club Underground has been the premiere Britpop/ Indie/ Eletro Pop/ Twee/ Post-Punk/ New Wave party in Los Angeles. Since its days at the Tempest and the Echo to its now current location at The Grand Star Jazz Club, Club Underground remains THE Friday night destination in L.A.. A few who have played our parties in the past: Super Furry Animals, Calvin Harris, Thom York, Spiritualized, Tim Burgess (The Charlatans), Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Paul Ryder (Happy Mondays), Art Brut, MEN, Atlas Sound, Vivian Girls, Boz Boorer & Gary Day (Morrissey), The Strange Boys, Little Ones, Stereo Total and countless others. Often imitated, never duplicated.
